Knorr, has launched its first ever Red and White Wine Stock Pots designed to bring depth and flavour to dishes without consumers having to buy or open a bottle of wine. The red wine variant offers a ‘full bodied’ taste, whilst the white wine variant is ‘fresh and crisp’.
With red and white wine stocks becoming the two fastest-growing variants in the category, this new launch is designed to offer shoppers a superior offering from a renowned brand. Each stock pot contains the equivalent of half a glass of wine and includes sustainably sourced herbs[1]. Thanks to their portion sizes, the Knorr Wine Stock Pots take the guesswork out of how much wine to use in a recipe.
Wine features in a wide variety of meals that are made daily in Ireland, including Spaghetti Bolognese and Risotto. Recent consumer trends reveal that 65% of stock users already add wine pots to their dishes to enhance the flavour. This new product is incremental to category growth while delivering superior taste for consumers. As such, each SKU features a recipe for these dishes on the back of the pack. An easy-to-follow Spaghetti Bolognese recipe is on the Knorr Red Wine Stock Pot pack and a Chicken Risotto recipe in on the Knorr White Wine Stock Pot pack.
The launch will be supported with a 360 degree advertising campaign across TV, Video on Demand, OOH, Social and in-store.
